The Hurricane Train is a flag stop train. It runs the first Thursday of the month from October thru May. Do not pay any attention to one bad review. We have ridden this train three times and we LOVED it. One of the things that makes this train ride so great is the people that ride it. They use the train to get supplies from town. You never know what you are going to see on the train. An author of children's books rode last September and she was fascinating to talk to. She lives off grid and writes books. The train also stopped at another author's house, City Hall, and I bought books from her also. Many times you get lucky and see wild life. The train backed up so we could see bears. Where else does that happen? If you get a chance, ride the train. It is well worth the cost of the ride!
