We had the best time swimming with the pigs! They were sweet and friendly and the guys running the place were great! Sun Cay is a lot of fun after the pigs also!Full review by ckelley_0317ma

I have no idea why this is such a popular thing to do. The pigs are aggressive and gross and when you swim up from your boat, you’re swimming in pig poo. We checked the box, but wish we had passed.Full review by LGJ00

Hi Victoria! The nicest place that is within a reasonable distance to the pigs is Fowl Cay; however, it can be pricey depending on which Villa you choose to rent. It is about a 2-3 minute boat ride from the swimming pigs. Staniel Cay is also very close to the pigs (about the same distance as Fowl Cay). While I have stayed at Staniel Cay Yacht Club a few times, I wouldn't classify it as "nice" necessarily. It is more of a beach shack kind of place, the villas don't have TVs and you have to pay for WiFi (if that is important to you). There are, however, other rentals available on Staniel Cay which are quite nice with a broad spectrum of prices and bedrooms available to suit your needs. Just check on Airbnb, and you can see several nice houses. If you have any questions about a specific resort or rental property, feel free to send me a message. I've been regularly travelling to the Exuma Cays for the last 8 years and can answer most questions that you may have!

My sons want to take a day to swim w the pigs but from what i read, Nassau is quite a distance from the pigs. What island would be closer to stay/easier access? We will be there 4 days. We stayed on Exuma at a Sandals resort. It wasn't a bad ride to Big Major and we made several fun stops along the way.
