This beach is amazing. The water is crystal clear and the white sand is so fine and soft. Mostly tourists, so it would be great to visit in the afternoon when cruisers head back to the port. Just …Full review by Allen B

nope. bring food and water. there is a restaurant but was quite far 15-20 minutes. bear in mind though, the beach i beyond a half a mile walk through mangroves beachwalk, so it's a hassle if you need to go back and forth because your were thirsty. don't forget sunscreen, hat or covering. there is no structure at all beach front.

A:
No bar or food at all. This beach is completely isolated and walk to get to through the mangroves. Not sure of the distance from the carnival port. It is a wonderful, beautiful, secluded beach.

A:
At the port there are taxis. Grab a local driver and take a van or two. You can negotiate the cost and split between you all.

We will be on a cruise in May and want to see this beach so badly. I am having trouble finding a reasonably priced tour or taxi to take us and stay with us. $250 is the price I was quoted. A bit too steep for me. Can I ask you how you arrived at the beach? Did you rent a car or take a taxi? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you,

Sorry - I just now was notified re question... But we had rented a car. We go to Australia for a month at a time or more and fly in - to either Sydney or Melbourne. Then we drive from friends houses visiting. We've met some awesome families on FB - that we've gone to visit and that had come to Houston to visit us! There are many beaches along the coast that aren't "tourist" type places and are totally amazing to visit!! Just drive towards the coast!
