They might act alongside each other amid all sorts of fatalities on Only Murders in the Building, but Amy Schumer is not letting those Meryl Streep and Martin Short romance rumors die. Schumer told People magazine on the “SNL50″ red carpet Sunday that she had been sat next to Streep and Short at the show’s homecoming concert on Friday—during which Streep flipped off Will Ferrell (as part of a bit) to the delight of the audience.

During Friday’s SNL50 concert, the camera panned to Streep and Short while former SNL cast members Will Ferrell and Ana Gasteyer were on stage reprising their characters Marty and Bobbi Mohan-Culp. Streep jokingly flipped the bird at the comedians while Short laughed along.
