LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville football program is coming off of their first bye week of the 2024 season, and as you can expect, not much changed in terms of bowl projections. Last week, projectors were pretty split on what bowls they believe the Cardinals will be heading to this postseason.

Before the season began, the Big 12 media poll picked the Arizona State football team to finish 16th in the conference this season. One sportsbook put the ASU football team's over/under win total at just 4.5 wins, tied for the lowest in the conference.

In the new, expanded 12-team playoff, the five highest-ranked conference champions will make the field along with the next seven highest-ranked teams. The four highest-ranked conference champions will be awarded first-round byes, with the other eight teams meeting at the campus sites of Seeds 5 through 8.
