The 36-year-old Lucas served as an assistant coach at Duke for the past three seasons before taking the head-coaching position at Miami in March, which seemingly factored into Henderson's decision to leave the Blue Devils for the Hurricanes.

ESPN 100 senior Shelton Henderson, who decommitted from Duke last week, announced his commitment to Miami on Monday.

Henderson had been part of Duke’s No. 1-rated recruiting class, along with twins Cameron and Cayden Boozer of Miami Columbus High. He asked to be released from his letter of intent last week, and Miami and Houston were among the leaders to get his signature.
