Crews are investigating after a large fire burned Monday afternoon in south Minneapolis, displacing Fire officials could be seen battling flames and heavy smoke at what appears to be an encampment near East 29th Street and 14th Avenue South.

Fires at two homeless encampments in Minneapolis were reported on Monday, with the second resulting in a number of explosions from propane tanks. Both fires happened within 20 minutes in the early afternoon hours and just over a half mile away from one another in south Minneapolis,
