Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka has announced that she and her partner, rapper Cordae, are no longer in a relationship. The two met at a Los Angeles Clippers game and kept their relationship under wraps until July that year,

She and Cordae became parents to a daughter in Los Angeles in July 2023. Osaka returned to the tour at last year’s Australian Open after about 15 months off.

Osaka’s breakup announcement also comes a couple of days after she suffered an abdominal injury while playing the final of a WTA tournament in Auckland. The tournament, which took place on Sunday January 5, led to the athlete dropping out of the finals.
