A New Jersey mayor lashed out Friday at Jon Bon Jovi's charitable, "pay it forward" restaurant, claiming the eatery is attracting a problematic number of unhoused people to the town of Toms River.

Toms River Mayor Daniel Rodrick accused the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Kitchen of attracting homeless people to a downtown library.

"If they're going to turn this into a homeless shelter, hell, cut everybody a check and give them a Barnes and Noble gift card," Toms River Mayor Daniel Rodrick said.

U.S. Attorney Alina Habba said she would investigate Gov. Phil Murphy and Attorney General Matt Platkin for not cooperating with ICE.
