As does any Ohio State fan, we love a good laugh at the expense of the Team Up North. The Ohio State Marching Band always puts on an excellent halftime show, but they may have outdone themselves once again.

Ohio State walloped Purdue 45-0 on Saturday. In typical fashion, the Buckeyes — their marching band — had its mind on another Big Ten school. Yes, Michigan. At halftime the Buckeyes band went into a bear formation.

No. 2 Ohio State easily dominated Purdue 45-0 on Saturday behind a well-rounded effort that included Smith breaking freshman records.

Jeremiah Smith has made it a record-setting day against Purdue as the Ohio State receiver now has more catches than any other true freshman in Ohio State football history. On third and 17, Smith hauled in a catch from quarterback Will Howard that was initially ruled a 17-yard gain and a first down.
