PONTE VEDRA, Fla. — Brooks Koepka on Wednesday dropped a serious hint that he wants back on the PGA Tour once his LIV Golf contract is up. The five-time major championship winner responded for the first time publicly about comments Fred Couples made recently about Koepka’s desire to leave LIV Golf and return to the PGA Tour.

Brooks Kopeka was noncommittal when asked about the rumors that he is eager to leave LIV Golf and jump back to the PGA Tour.

The PGA Tour is making its flagship stop this week at The Players Championship. Once again, some of the biggest names in golf will not be at the tournament. Brooks Koepka and LIV Golf are in Singapore for their event,

Last week, Fred Couples put this decision in the limelight as he indicated that Koepka yearned to return to the PGA Tour. “I talk to Brooks Koepka all the time,” Couples told Seattle’s KJR 93.3 FM on Mar. 3.

Five-time major champion Brooks Koepka pushed back on Fred Couples' recent comments that he was unhappy playing in the LIV Golf League.

Prior to LIV's Singapore event, Koepka was asked about r ecent comments by Fred Couples that seemed to indicate he was interested in a return to the PGA Tour. (Couples' comments provoked a fiery, and quickly deleted, social media reaction from Mickelson.)

Always a relatively aloof character, Brooks Koepka neither confirmed nor dispelled rumors that he is seeking to leave the LIV Golf League in favour of a return to the PGA Tour. Which in and of itself might be telling.
