Marcus Smart, who spent nine seasons with the Celtics, is returning to the Eastern Conference as a Washington Wizard.

The Grizzlies are trading Marcus Smart and a 2025 first-round pick to the Wizards in a multi-team deal that will see Memphis acquire a pair of second-round picks.
