The El Dorado County Superior Court has overturned a 2018 ballot initiative in South Lake Tahoe that banned short-term vacation home rentals in the city’s residential neighborhoods. South Lake Tahoe voters narrowly approved Measure T with a margin of just 58 votes.

Measure T was passed in November 2018 and aimed to phase out vacation home rentals in residential areas of the city.
