U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, an independent from Vermont, will bring his “Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go From Here” tour to the Lehigh Valley on May 3. Sanders will speak at Lehigh University’s Stabler Arena. Also appearing will be U.S. Rep. Chris Deluzio, a Democrat who represents Pennsylvania’s 17th District in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Bernie Sanders on Sunday responded to criticism from a fellow Democrat caucus member of his use of the term "oligarchy" saying that the "American people are not quite as dumb" as to not understand the term.
