For those who don’t know, back in December of 2024, Bethesda the company that is behind Fallout released a video game for the Indiana Jones franchise. The game itself does not have Harrison Ford playing the titular character,

“S**t happens,” said Ford. “I was really the one who felt there was another story to tell. When [Indy] had suffered the consequences of the life that he had to live, I wanted one more chance to pick him up and shake the dust off his ass and stick him out there, bereft of some of his vigor, to see what happened.”

It takes a lot to make Harrison Ford regret doing a project. This is especially true when it comes to the classic “Indiana Jones” franchise.

Harrison Ford, after a legendary career, has announced his plans to retire from Hollywood, with his final role set in Captain America: Brave New World, marking the end of an era.

Harrison Ford first played Indiana Jones back in 1981 and went on to play the beloved character in five movies over the course of four decades. His latest and final appearance in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny didn't seem to live up to the hype of the movies in the franchise that came before it.

"I was really the one who felt there was another story to tell," the actor said of the fifth installment in the franchise.

Although many Indiana Jones fans were unhappy with the last installment, Harrison Ford has made his peace with the character. The Oscar nominee recently shared his reaction to Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny‘s unsuccessful 2023 opening after taking one last adventure as the titular archaeologist in the James Mangold-helmed sequel.
