The Illinois basketball team was no match for No. 11 Wisconsin on Tuesday at Kohl Center. The Illini got as close as five points behind in the first 90 seconds of the second half, then wilted the rest of the way while Wisconsin guard John Tonje poured in a game-high 31 points to lead the Badgers to a 95-74 victory in Madison,

Illinois defeated Wisconsin back on Dec. 10. The Badgers look night and day better since that date and appear to be rounding into dominant form at the exact right time.
