Report of gunman at Loma Linda Hospital believed to be swatting call prompts 100-plus officer response
Investigators believe a Wednesday evening, March 12, call about an armed man in the children’s section of the Loma Linda University Medical Center that prompted evacuations and a response of 100-plus officers from across the region was a hoax, authorities said. There were no injuries, and no gunshots fired, they said.
