Transfer season is in full swing again in college football, and some standout players are already on the move. Here's what we know.

The Pitt Panthers landed a talented transfer on the defensive side of the ball from one of the top programs in the country. Pete Nakos of On3 reported that Oregon redshirt freshman linebacker/edge rusher Jaeden Moore signed with Pitt.

The Oregon Ducks landed another massive player of need out of the transfer portal on Tuesday, getting a commitment from former Tulane Green Wave running back Makhi Hughes. Hughes, who rushed for 1,401 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2024, will come to Eugene and play a huge role for the Ducks in 2025 as a redshirt junior with two years of eligibility.

Tuesday started out with Oregon landing a transfer commitment from Florida State wide receiver Malik Benson, the former No. 1 JUCO player in the nation. Just a few hours later, they then had wide receiver Evan Stewart, one of the most talented players on the team, announce that he is returning to Eugene in 2025 for one more year with the Ducks.

The NCAA transfer portal continues to reshape college football, and the Oregon Ducks just scored big. Makhi Hughes, the top-ranked running back in the transfer portal, has committed to Oregon. The former Tulane standout brings a stellar resume,
