A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for some North Texas counties Friday morning. The National Weather Service issued the watch for Jack, Wise, Cooke, Grayson and Fannin counties until 10 a.m. All of North Texas is under a slight risk for severe storms on Friday.

The NWS Fort Worth TX issued a severe thunderstorm watch at 2:16 a.m. on Friday in effect until 10 a.m. The watch is for Wise, Cooke, Fannin, Grayson, Jack, Montague and Young counties.
