Drivers in downtown Caldwell should take alternate routes after a train derailment caused blockage of the intersection of Main Street and 4th Avenue on Friday afternoon. Wheels came off one of the train’s cars Friday, leaving it stuck in the busy intersection, according to a Facebook post by the Caldwell Police Department.

Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes while crews work to clear the derailment. The road will be closed for several hours.
