A federal judge ordered the Trump administration return a deported Guatemalan national, claiming the government did not give him a sufficient opportunity to express his concern over being deported to Mexico.

"The Court finds that the public benefits from living in a country where rules are followed and where promises are kept," the judge wrote in his Friday order.

The Trump administration has been ordered to facilitate the return of a Guatemalan man who was wrongly deported to Mexico in February, after he told authorities about his fears of violence and torture across the border.
