Here's where western Washington could see lowland snow this weekend
Confidence of there being lowland snow this weekend is growing, and although there doesn’t seem to be any significant accumulations on the way, there will some spots which will see a quick inch or two as colder air settles in starting Saturday.
Cliff Mass: Parts of Western Washington could see snow next weekend
Cliff Mass, atmospheric sciences professor at the University of Washington, told “Seattle’s Morning News” on KIRO Newsradio Monday there is a chance of snow in the region. However, only some areas of Western Washington, such as Skagit and Whatcom Counties, will see it.

Snow in the lowlands of Western Washington is looking more likely by Saturday night and into next week as unseasonably cold temperatures continue throughout the region. Forecast models are showing a 50% chance of at least 1 inch of snow starting Saturday or early Sunday, the National Weather Service said in an emailed briefing Monday afternoon.
