Winter Storm Warning Issued For 4 States as Snow Storm Strikes Parts of US
Winter storm warnings have been issued in four states: Oregon, Washington, California and Minnesota. In northwestern Oregon and parts of Washington, including the Willapa Hills, there will be light snow showers until midnight Friday. Cities impacted include Mary's Peak, Brooklyn, Sunset Summit, Wilson River Summit, Valsetz, and Horton.

Update: Winter storm warning issued for Klamath Basin until Friday morning – up to 12 inches of snow
An updated winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 3:45 a.m. valid from 10 a.m. until Friday 10 a.m. for Klamath Basin.

Meanwhile, a swath of the Central and Eastern U.S. was under winter weather advisory, which the NWS issues "for any amount of freezing rain, or when 2 to 4 inches of snow (alone or in combination with sleet and freezing rain), is expected to cause a significant inconvenience, but not serious enough to warrant a warning."
Winter storm warning issued for Southern Trinity until Friday morning – up to 7 inches of snow
On Thursday at 3:10 a.m. the NWS Eureka CA issued a winter storm warning valid from 10 a.m. until Friday 10 a.m. for Southern Trinity.
