Mariah Carey, OutKast, Phish, Bad Company, Billy Idol and more top the 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination list. The 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame list of nominees has been released, with 14 artists up for consideration.

Bad Company, Mariah Carey, Billy Idol and, after decades of effort, Chubby Checker are among the performers nominated for induction in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Hall Foundation announced today.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame foundation announced the list of 14 performers who will be considered for induction on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Wednesday unveiled their 2025 nominees for induction, which include Chubby Checker, OutKast and Mariah Carey.

Mariah Carey and Outkast are this ( encloses index finger and thumb) much closer to being immortalized in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The coveted shrine released the list of nominees for 2025’s commemoration, stacked with icons who have been nominated in previous years and first-timers alike.

Mariah Carey, Outkast, Bad Company, Billy Idol, The Black Crowes, Phish and other artists are nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2025.

Also on the ballot for the Class of 2025 are Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Maná, Billy Idol and the White Stripes, among others.

Carey, Lauper, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Soundgarden and The White Stripes have been nominated before. Bad Company, The Black Crowes, Checker, Cocker, Maná, Idol, OutKast and Phish are on the ballot for the first time.

The nominees, including Bad Company, Joe Cocker, Billy Idol, Soundgarden and the White Stripes, were announced Wednesday. The 2025 Inductees will be revealed in late April.
