Browns owner Jimmy Haslam told defensive end Myles Garrett to speak with general manager Andrew Berry about his ongoing trade request.

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam recently declined Myles Garrett’s request to talk to him about his trade request, telling him to talk to GM Andrew Berry instead, a league source told cleveland.com NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero was first with Garrett’s request to speak with Haslam.

Speaking at the NFL Scouting Combine on Tuesday, Browns general manager Andrew Berry reaffirmed to reporters that Cleveland isn't interested in parting ways with Myles Garrett despite the star defender's request for a trade.

The Myles Garrett offseason saga did another moonwalk. He recently requested a meeting with Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam, who declined to speak to the star pass rusher amid Garrett's trade request.

Per Andrew Elmquist of Browns Nation, NFL Media's Rich Eisen became the latest person to repeat a popular claim about the Cleveland Browns' stance regarding Myles Garrett.
