The Minnesota Vikings had an exceptional 2024 regular season in large part because Sam Darnold had a career year. The former No. 3 pick proved that he's more than capable of being a starting quarterback in the NFL.

Martin followed, “I want no part of this place.” Darnold was the Jets’ first-round pick (No. 3 overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft. He played three seasons in New York before being traded to the Carolina Panthers for a 2021 sixth-round pick, a 2022 second-round pick, and a fourth-round pick in 2022.

The Las Vegas Raiders have a major question mark at the quarterback position once again in 2025, and it remains to be seen if they'll draft a signal-caller or sign one in free agency. One NFL analyst predicts the team will take the latter route and break the bank for a projected $160 million quarterback.

Hunter, a dual-threat wide receiver/cornerback combo and the reigning Heisman Trophy winner out of Colorado, is the top-ranked player on the big board of ESPN's Mel Kiper. Carter, a pass rusher out of Penn State, is No. 2 on that list, while quarterbacks Shedeur Sanders (Colorado) and Cam Ward (Miami) come in at fourth and fifth, respectively.
