Starz has released a teaser for Outlander: Blood of My Blood, a prequel series to the time-traveling historical drama that will focus on the parents of Outlander’s main characters, Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe). The premium cabler also says the new series will premiere in the summer.
The series will tell the story of how Jamie's parents met in 18th-century Scotland. It will also depict Claire's parents' romance in WWI-era England.
Sam Heughan quipped, “I know every British actor that’s ever worn a suit is probably talked about [in connection with the Bond role] at some point.”
