A winter storm in Maryland dumped about 2 to 4 inches of snow across the state Tuesday, with some southern counties seeing more accumulation.

Storm Harlow made travel dangerous Tuesday, with the Virginia State Police reporting 700 accidents and dozens of injuries, according to The Associated Press. The storm was dumping snow on the East Coast late into the night.

Officers in Maryland and Virginia have responded to hundreds of crashes since Tuesday, Feb. 11 after a winter storm hit the region, leaving several inches of snow in some areas.
