Locally based Christians and even LDS members have publicly opposed the church's erection of the massive 16-story temple in an area where the average structure stands just 35-feet tall.
In light of a Las Vegas City Council vote, a planned temple in the Lone Mountain community will not be allowed to brighten the building during overnight hours.
