Elon Musk made an unannounced visit to the National Security Agency on Wednesday, a week after saying the secretive office responsible for foreign-intelligence collection needed to be revamped.

Musk has previously criticized the NSA, tweeting March 6 that the NSA “needs an overhaul,” attaching a graphic depicting a group of college-aged people and a list of universities where the agency would be doing recruitment.

Elon Musk paid a visit to the National Security Agency on Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing current and former U.S. officials. His meeting with the agency's leadership took place just a week after he suggested the NSA required significant reforms.
