CBI questions Dr. Birupaksha Biswas, part of 'North Bengal lobby', in connection with woman doctor's rape and murder case.

KOLKATA: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday questioned Dr Birupaksha Biswas and Dr Abhik De, who are closely associated with Dr Sandip Ghosh, the former football principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.

The CBI has approached the court for permission to conduct narco analysis on former principal Sandip Ghosh and a polygraph test on ex-Tala PS OC Abhij

Biswas was recently transferred from Burdwan Medical College and Hospital to Kakdwip Hospital in South 24 Parganas district by the West Bengal government. He appeared before CBI officers at their CGO Complex office in Salt Lake area,

As per CBI, Dr Birupaksha Biswas was seen at the hospital on August 9 – the day of the crime – despite no official engagement there.
