Hasbro is teaming up with movie production company Legendary Entertainment to create a live-action film and TV “universe” based on Magic: The Gathering. The project will initially focus on a currently untitled feature film according to Hasbro’s press release,

Magic: The Gathering, the best-selling card game, is headed to silver and small screens with a live-action film and TV universe planned. Hasbro Entertainment and Legendary Entertainment are teaming up for the project, and along with the film and TV series, additional content is set to be developed along with the expanding universe.

Not content with the animated series already in the works, Hasbro is working with Legendary to bring the beloved card game to the big screen.
