NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WJAR) — New Bedford police said a 32-year-old woman was arrested for animal cruelty on Wednesday. According to police, they received a report of a dog that was possibly shot with a pellet gun on March 1. Security cameras captured sound of two bangs, and a dog limping and visibly injured, New Bedford police said.
