SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — Border Patrol agents have placed barriers by Mount Cristo Rey in Sunland Park, New Mexico.
The newly installed vehicle barrier on the south side of Mount Cristo Rey will eventually be replaced by a permanent border wall, Border Report has learned.
A spokesperson with Border Patrol told KTSM that the metal barriers are a temporary top to gap the illegal activity in the area of Mount Cristo Rey.
