Denver Public Schools converted a second-floor girls' restroom at East High School to an all-gender bathroom while students were on winter break.

The Department of Education announced it is investigating Denver Public Schools for changing a girl's bathroom into an all gender bathroom.

Denver Public Schools called the decision to investigate the conversion of a women’s restroom into an all-gender facility as potential discrimination “unprecedented.”
