Bharti Airtel Ltd. 532454 shares advanced 2.84% to 1,712.30 Indian rupees Friday, on what proved to be an all-around positive trading session for the stock market, with the BSE SENSEX Index 1 rising 1.

Bharti Airtel’s market capitalisation crossed Rs 10 trillion for the first time during intraday trade on Thursday. At the end of the session, the company’s market capitalisation was Rs 9.98 trillion, up 0.8 per cent from the day before.

The stock of Bharti Airtel rallied more than 3% in Thursday’s trade, taking the year-to-date gains to 62%. In comparison, the benchmark Nifty has gained 17% during the same period.
