Less than a year after hiring him, Michigan awarded coach Dusty May with a multi-year contract extension to stave off any chance that his alma mater might pursue him this offseason.

Michigan basketball first year head coach, Dusty May, has agreed to a contract extension with the Wolverines. His new deal includes an extra year, a pay raise for he and his staff, higher buyout, and an increased investment in the basketball NIL resources.
