The Detroit Lions made Ohio State defensive lineman Tyleik Williams their first round pick in the 2025 NFL draft, following the selection up with the choice of an offensive lineman, Tate Ratledge of Georgia, in round number two.

Since general manager Brad Holmes and head coach Dan Campbell were hired in 2021, seven UDFAs have made Detroit's Week 1 roster, including at least one each year. In 2024, it was long snapper Hogan Hatten, safety Loren Strickland and wide receiver Isaiah Williams.

It's easy to see the vision with Johnson's moves in his first offseason with the Bears. Also, Hank Fraley must be thrilled about Detroit's draft.
