Yet again, another round of severe weather is set to threaten the central U.S. with damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes starting late Tuesday and continuing through Thursday.

After severe weather knocked out power for thousands Monday, forecasters say possible tornadoes or otherwise damaging winds and hail are on the way.
The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a tornado watch for all of West Tennessee until 10pm tonight. The storms will move in this afternoon with the greatest threat coming in after 7pm. The storm threat appears to be higher along the Mississippi River than it is the Tennessee River.
The city announced in a press release that early warning sirens did not function due to "possible weather-related interference."
