When Myles Garrett requested to be traded from the Browns earlier this month, it sent shockwaves throughout the NFL. But there seems to be an unintended consequence of Garrett wanting to be dealt from the Browns.

Garrett is among the best defensive players in the league, having racked up 102.5 sacks in his career since he was the No. 1 pick in 2017. One of the most entertaining NFL parlor games of the past two weeks, then, has been to construct trades that would land Garrett with different contenders-- the Eagles, the Commanders, the Packers and so on.

Myles Garrett is adamant on leaving and the Browns are adamant on keeping him but the situation could change as the draft nears.

The Commanders could approach improving their edge group by trading for the Cleveland Browns' Myles Garrett, but there are other options as well.

The Cleveland Browns have two huge pivot points this offseason starting with DE Myles Garrett’s trade request and then the second overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Rumors have been flying about both of those decisions with a lot of interesting Garrett trade proposals as well as some interesting options for the Browns in the upcoming draft.

The NFL just gave the Cleveland Browns some great news that will help in their pursuit of keeping Myles Garrett in town this offseason.
