Curry-Lee confessed that she was "a teensy bit disappointed" of the No. 1 pick's outfit choice.

Former UConn Huskies superstar Paige Bueckers was selected by the Dallas Wings with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. This pick didn't come as a surprise to anyone, given that Bueckers was undoubtedly the best prospect in the entire draft class.

Bueckers attended last year’s WNBA Draft as a fan, watching as her former UConn teammates Aaliyah Edwards and Nika Mühl were selected. When those festivities opened, she was seated toward the back of the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Bueckers said she was there in a “supporting cast role.”
