Bandai Namco has announced that Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero sales have hit another big milestone, further cementing the latest Dragon Ball fighter's popularity and success. In a post on X, the studio reveals that Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has hit five million sales, a figure it's managed to reach in around four months.

The throwback anime fighter launched in October of last year, and managed to sell over 3 million copies within its first 24 hours — so it's sold a further 2 million since then. What's more, it's now the fastest-selling Dragon Ball title ever on console.

Sparking Zero's latest update added the Legendary Warrior Face-Off mode, which is basically a raid. Players aren't too happy with its grindy nature, which requires more than 150 wins for all of the rewards.
