The lawsuit, filed by the family of Mark Hopkins and his then-girlfriend, claims the execution of a search warrant in 2023 was improperly handled.

According to the release from Gilde Law Firm, Hopkins was killed by police in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023 when he was awoken by an M84 flash-bang grenade.
