The New England Patriots' search for a franchise quarterback in the post-Tom Brady era is a lot like many episodes of the best reality TV; heart-aching guilty pleasure drama that disgusts me yet keeps me glued to the screen.

That performance was good enough to earn him a spot on the Pro Bowl roster as an alternate after Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson took himself out of the game. It also earned him votes for the 2024 Offensive Player of the Year award, which was given to Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels as expected.

Despite things seemingly looking up for the New England Patriots vibe-wise, there is still much work that needs to be done to get the team in any sort of shape to contend in the ultra-competitive AFC.
