Tom Robbins, the novelist and prankster-philosopher who charmed and addled millions of readers, has died. He was 92.

Tom Robbins moved to the Pacific Northwest in the early '60s and was assigned to review an opera for the Seattle Times. He lived in La Conner for over five decades.
