Jackson, who led the Ravens to a second straight AFC North championship, got 26 second-place votes and one-fourth for 362 points. Saquon Barkley finished third (120 points), followed by Joe Burrow (82) and Lions QB Jared Goff (47).

This season's race never became quite that clear, despite Jackson putting up even stronger numbers than last season. Bills QB Josh Allen spent the second half of the year battling for MVP honors with Jackson, and Eagles RB Saquon Barkley even stated his case with a dominant 2,005-yard rushing season.

NFL Honors was held in New Orleans on Thursday. The awards for the best players in multiple categories were handed out. Some of the biggest names bagged the hardware. The MVP Award went to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen,
