Omaha made gains Monday on its snowfall deficit, but the city still remains more than 10 inches below normal for the season.

Widespread snow will be heavy at times during the morning drive causing impacts to travel. Light snow likely lingers into the afternoon and will clear out from west to east by the evening. Still expect travel impacts for the evening commute Wednesday. Expect 3 to 5 inches of snow for the Omaha metro with 5 to 7 inches possible south.
