Bobby Miller is on the mend after taking a 106 mph line drive to the forehead during his appearance in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Cactus League opener against the Chicago Cubs.

Miller took a shot to the head while attempting to field a blazing liner from Cubs first baseman Michael Busch. The 25-year old, who endured an injury-plagued 2024 campaign, exited the game under his own power. But he was worse for the wear, drifting into the dugout with a bulging battle scar as a result.

After the game, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Miller, who walked off under his own power, will enter concussion protocol.
