Detectives in Stanislaus County are investigating a man's death at a trailer park as a homicide, the sheriff's office said Sunday.

Detectives in Stanislaus County are working to determine the nature of a man’s death in Ceres on Saturday, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office. At 1:30 p.m., deputies were called out to a trailer park in the 700 block of River Road after calls came in about a dead body.

The man, believed to be in his 70s, was found dead in one of the trailers at about 1:30 p.m. Jan. 4, according to a news release. Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation after the circumstances of the incident led them to believe there may be foul play.
