Beyoncé’s NFL Christmas show helps set league streaming record The NFL’s Christmas Day debut on Netflix was a game-changer for sports streaming. For the first time ever, the NFL games – two high-profile matchups – aired exclusively on the streaming giant.

According to NBC News, the league has prohibited all its players from any "violent gestures" that mimic "the firing of a pistol or a shotgun or a bazooka." Players can be fined for the gestures but it can also create a disadvantage during a game, resulting in a 15-yard penalty. Players are allowed to appeal the fines.

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter took the stage at NRG Stadium on Christmas Day performing the halftime show at the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game. The 32-time Grammy-winning artist began the performance by singing "16 Carriages" while riding a white horse into the stadium.
